How We Started

Kings Point Venture's roots date back to 1995, when our Founder and Chairman Tom Hughes decided to enter the Dunkin' Donuts Business. He knew he did not want to go it alone, so he recruited his college classmates Alex Smigelski and Tom Carpenter from the United States Merchant Marine Academy to join in the journey. Today, KP Ventures is one of the larger operators of Dunkin' Donuts locations in New York, Connecticut, and South Central Pennsylvania-and most recently Indianapolis markets.

How we operate

KP Ventures operates Dunkin' Donuts stores in many locations on the East Coast, and most recently acquired the entire Indianapolis and Fort Wayne markets. We will be developing this market over the next four to five years. We think we are a company that employees enjoy working with, and we credit a lot of our success to the happiness of our employees. We gauge our success via following for measures: Customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, overall profitability and community involvement
